Studio Education

New Bedford Art Museum/ArtWorks! is your Community Arts Center & Museum, we have studio education classes for all ages. NBAM/ArtWorks! develops and supports the community through educational partnerships, classes, exhibitions, and outreach programming.  NBAM/ArtWorks! hosts a number of ever-changing artists, distinguished speakers, and highly-motivated educators that will get you as excited about art as we are.


In general, we offer limited scholarship assistance to youth of the Greater New Bedford area to participate in our tuition-based classes and workshops. Generally, our free programs are limited to the youth and families of Greater New Bedford.

Come learn, create, and grow with us.

We have a great line-up of classes for adults, teens, and kids. Learn art techniques such as painting figure drawing, or how to work in clay. All levels welcome. Get inspired and explore the various classes. We hope to see you soon.
