LEARNING FOR LIFE: 5th ANNUAL SMEC EXHIBITION
Learning for Life: Annual SMEC Exhibition 2026
The Art Museum in partnership with Southeastern Massachusetts Educational Collaborative (SMEC) annually presents an exhibition of artwork created by students and adults participating in SMEC programs. SMEC serves individuals with special needs ages 3-21 as well as adults with developmental disabilities. All artwork on display in Learning For Life was produced as part of weekly art classes led by educator Nicole Winning over the course of one year. The art project prompts vary and encompass explorations of line, color, form, gesture, abstraction and realism.
