Designed for young artists who are ready to go beyond the basics, this four-week workshop focuses on expanding drawing skills, sharpening observational skills, and developing an artistic voice. This workshop builds on core skills while encouraging deeper observation, technique refinement, and creative development.

Through focused exercises and creative challenges, children will practice drawing from observation, expressive mark-making, and creating dynamic compositions. The class emphasizes both technique and personal expression, and is perfect for kids who love to draw and are excited to sharpen their skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

The Instructor, Amanda Arruda

Amanda Arruda is a visual artist and painter based in Fall River, Massachusetts. In 2023, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in Painting from The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
