Folk, soul, pop, electronica, rock, hip-hop, and jazz, are just some of the genres you might hear at any given FriYAY event. Curated by Scott Bishop, a New Bedford-based singer, songwriter, and sound sculptor, visitors hear local musicians play a two-hour set.
Upcoming: Brian Cass
Brian is a music technologist with decades of experience creating and performing electronic music. He has been employed by Grammy awarded artists, international software developers and world-class recording studios. Currently on the faculty at Berklee College of Music, Brian teaches courses in the Electronic Production & Design department. At the New Bedford Art Museum, Brian will be performing live improvised electronic music with guitar, synthesizers, and an immersive speaker array.
