The Instructor, Kim Savoie
Kim Savoie is an accomplished glass artist based in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, with over 13 years of expertise in the art of glassmaking. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the prestigious Massachusetts College of Art and Design, graduating in 2013, where she honed her skills and deepened her knowledge of the craft.
Savoie’s career has since been dedicated to both production glassmaking and educating the public on the art, history, and science of glass. She has had the privilege of working internationally with the Corning Museum of Glass, the largest glass museum in the world, building her own glass production line, and has taught all over the northeast.
Savoie is focused on building her own glassblowing school, Celadon Glassworks, where she can share her passion for this magical medium with others. Through her school and her work, she aims to foster a greater appreciation for the craft in her community, while continuing to create and sell her own distinctive pieces.
