This class is designed for beginners or anyone looking to refresh their watercolor skills. Over the course of the class, you'll learn essential techniques and build the foundation needed to create beautiful, vibrant, and expressive watercolor paintings. Topics will include color mixing, understanding water-to-paint ratios, and mastering various brush strokes to achieve different effects.

Additionally, we'll explore different types of watercolor paints, papers, and brushes, giving you the knowledge to choose the best materials for your projects. Whether you're new to watercolor or looking to refine your skills, this class will give you the tools and confidence to express your creativity through this versatile medium.

Kayla Conner is a watercolor artist born and raised in New Bedford. Through watercolor, Kayla explores emotional depth and transformation, using the medium as a tool for self-healing and connection with others. Her art invites viewers to engage with their own inner landscapes, offering comfort and inspiration through layers of emotion, energy, and intention.
