The class will meet for one single workshop for 2 hours.
Instructor, Lynne
Lynne's artistic practice spans over 4 decades, focusing on painting and
sculpting in various mediums, with a preference for watercolor and a range of styles from hyper-realism to abstraction.
Lynne's journey in the arts began with early creative pursuits and extensive formal education, leading to a 45-year career encompassing roles as an artist, teacher, and administrator. She has studied visual art at Skidmore College (BSA), Art Students League of NYC, Pratt Institute, Provincetown Art Museum and University of MA. She has dedicated over 35 years to mentoring youth and artists, assisting them in developing and promoting their work. Lynne has taught visual art and design at Sophia Academy (Middle School) in Providence, RI, for more than a decade, actively contributing to the expansion of the school's arts program included music, dance, theater, visual technology, and design.
Her work has been exhibited at Skidmore College and at various galleries through Vermont and Rhode Island. Lynne is a resident of Tiverton with her menagerie of dogs and one cat who rules the household.
