Join us for Art Camp at the New Bedford Art Museum this summer! Bring your lunch and immerse yourself in the world of art. Explore various medias including painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, and wheel throwing! Make new friends while having fun creating beautiful artworks to take home and share with your family.

Julia Gilchrest

Julia Gilchrest is a visual artist and painter from Dartmouth currently attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Focusing on themes of nature and the imagination, she hopes to bring people together through examining the hidden beauty of life.

Jillian McEvoy

Jillian McEvoy is a ceramic artist who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in ceramics from SUNY Cortland, earned in 2019. Following her undergraduate studies, she served as an Instructional Support Technician and then as an Adjunct Lecturer for the ceramics program at SUNY Cortland.

Currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts degree in ceramics at UMass Dartmouth since 2022, Jillian's artistic focus lies primarily on vessel-based creations and ceramic installation pieces.
